  • More bandwidth & same IP failover – If more internet bandwidth is needed and you want to ensure 100% uptime. Bond any combination of internet access circuits, even from different providers eg: fibre, copper, coax and add 4G/5G failover.
    Example: 100/40 + 100/40Mbps = 200/80Mbps + 4G/5G failover. 
  • Same IP failover If there is already enough Internet bandwidth, but you want to ensure 100% uptime. Your Internet, voice and video stay live, even when failing from fixed to wireless connectivity.
    Example: 1Gbps as primary and 4G/5G as failover to give 100% uptime.

More bandwidth with SD-Internet

Internet Bonding – Packet based technology is used to bond any combination of circuits or access methods (copper, fibre, coax, wireless). You can even bond circuits from different providers. The bandwidth of the access circuits are aggregated together by creating a single virtual tunnel.
Example: 100Mbps primary and 100Mbps secondary = 200Mbps total.

Packet based load balancing breaks single packet flow into multiple packet streams and  distributes them across available circuits. This also provides additional security as no single circuit carries the entire stream of data.  

Call’s don’t drop

Same IP failover

Applications don’t see any failover as the same IP address is used for all circuits in the virtual tunnel. Real time traffic such as voice and video calls don’t drop, even when failing from fixed to wireless connectivity. 

  • The same IP address is used for all circuits between the CPE and the SD‑Internet aggregator creating a virtual tunnel. Circuits are removed or added back into this virtual tunnel as required. 
  • All circuits are active and if any fail they are removed from the tunnel within 300 milliseconds.  
  • 4G/5G circuits can be set to standby failover status so you are not normally consuming an expensive mobile data plan.  Failover to wireless also occurs within 300ms.
