With a 30-year career as a technology specialist, Peter has deep expertise across all aspects of the IT industry including software development, global network management and enterprise systems implementation. Peter has held senior management positions of listed technology companies including Kodak, Unisys, IBM, Logica, Mincom and Orange and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Computer Science from Flinders University.
Peter is Chairman of Nexion Group and RadianArc and has extensive experience in capital raising, IPO’s.
In his spare time Peter surfs and windsurfs - and is about to get a stand up paddle board!
Chief Technical Officer
Mark has a 34-year career as a technologist well versed in all aspects of software development, network engineering and data centre infrastructure development. Mark worked for Novell in the 90’s before establishing Rescue Technology and Acure which he later sold to Amcom (now Vocus).
Mark is an expert in wide area networks and architect of the ActivePort software. He has a degree in Electronic Engineering and Graduate Diploma in Digital Communications from Monash University.
Mark is a motorcyclist enthusiast. Or more precisely, a Ducati "enthusiast".
Karim brings a wealth of experience to our board having spent the last 25 years in telecommunications, most recently Telstra, where he was Executive Director - Product Engineering until June 2020. Previously, Karim held positions of Dir. Global Enterprise Product Engineering and Dir. Network Services and Facilities. Prior to Telstra, Karim held several senior executive roles at Optus and the broader SingTel group, in particular Group Vice President, IP Core Engineering, Vice President, Converged Services Engineering and Head of Strategy and Planning for the Networks Division.
Karim has a deep passion for all things wine, travelling to wine regions and making sure he's tasted what the regions have to offer!
Chief Financial Officer
Robert brings over 25 years of corporate finance experience from senior CFO positions across Australia, Europe and the USA. He has invaluable public company experience, including raising capital, completing IPO’s and managing ASX compliance. His track record also includes building international businesses and operating within a globally distributed executive team.
Robert is a keen golfer and skier and on weekends you will find him walking the dogs on the beaches with his family.
General Manager Infrastructure
Simon began is career as a Transmission Engineer and from there built a 25 year career in telecommunications. Most recently he was the General Manager, Fixed Networks for Visionstream and prior to that he was the Director of Transmission & Access Engineering for Optus. Simon has also held senior leadership positions in Optus as VP Fixed and Satellite Services and GM Technology Strategy & Planning. Simon has a Bachelor of Applied Science, Physics from the University of Technology, Sydney.
When he’s not busy unlocking the potential of technology, Simon is cruising the roads on his motorbike, spending time with his family and daydreaming about their next skiing adventure.
Head of Investor Relations & Acquisitions
Knar’s career in the technology industry spans for over 20 years specialising in telecommunications, network engineering, account management and within her previous role as Pre-sales Engineer, building solutions to customers modular data centre challenges. Knar has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a Double Major in Information Technology and Marketing from Curtin University, Western Australia
Knar loves exploring new and exotic places around the globe with her family and is kept busy with their new addition, a rescue Jack Russell puppy, who loves going to the beach almost as much as Knar does.
Executive Manager Strategy & HR
Peri has over 15 years experience in HR in the telecommunications, IT, Retail and FMCG industries. She has held senior management positions and her HR experience has spanned across strategy, operations and future of work. Peri has a Bachelors of Science in Recreational Therapy and a Masters of Commerce- Advance Human Resources Management from UNSW.
Peri is a keen soccer player and spends most of her weekends on a sport field of some sort with her daughters or dreaming of their next holiday.
Chris has 30 years of senior management experience in the contracting, fabrication, sales, equipment rental, mining and construction sectors. He founded Dewatering Services Australia (DSA) in 2003 which he sold to ASX-listed REL in 2011. Chris's brings a focuses on financial management, business processes, large scale project delivery and safety system development to the ActivePort Board.
